 Tim Couch, Aka "Talanbo Taurus," Born of IRISH, SCOTTISH, HAWAIIAN, Heritage. A Former Top Selling Recording Star from Hawaii!

 Tim Is a creative performer and entertainer with vocal harmonies to match. Tim plays both acoustic, and electric guitars, and as well as Synthesizer. He is a Video Producer, Director, and an Editor of all music video Productions.

DON HO: The Star of "The Don Ho Show" at the Duke's of WAIKIKI, once said- "Tim-boy" when you write a song keep it simple, and tell a story! He said the simple songs are often the biggest songs. for example: Don's, biggest hit song: "Tiny Bubbles"

Don Ho, will always be considered "A Great Friend," Tim, called "POP'S," since his, first singing appearance at "Waikiki Duke's" at the age of 17...

Don Ho, was Tim's biggest musical influence, along with Tim's family member's in the band "The Rolling Coconut's"

Don Ho, Often Invited Tim, and his older brother to golf with him on Hawaii's finest golf courses for many years before his Passing!

DONALD TRUMP- Tim, Personally met the billionaire, at the "2000 Miss Universe Pageant" Tim, Shocked Donald, and His body guard's after walking right past all 4, large bodyguards who were surrounding Mr. Trump... It went like this:

Tim: Aloha! Donald Trump, Welcome to Hawaii, (As he reached out his hand to shake Donald's hand, saying: I'm Tim Couch!

Donald: Replied: Thank you! Tim Couch! Thanks for the warm welcome, and it's nice to meet You.

Tim: My pleasure, Mr. Trump!

Donald: Call me Donald, and have a great time at my Miss Universe Pageant!

Tim: "Thank you! Donald"

Tim's- Professional Entertaining Career started when he was discovered by the Waikiki Band "THE (FABULOUS) KRUSH," While Performing at "The DUKES" in Waikiki.

When Tim, was 17, and paid $60.00 per song from Don Ho, who always asked for a joke, and 2, songs at the opening of each show!  

 MORE HISTORY! 

  In 3rd grad elementary school Tim, learned to read music, and play 4, brass instruments, including trumpet, coronet, mellophone, and french horn! Later Tim, taught himself to play the acoustic guitar, piano, synthesizer, electric guitar, and harmonica!

 

  Tim- Excelled in many areas while attending Nanakuli, Elementary, Intermediate, and the Nanakuli High School. His best grades were in Music, ART, DRAMA, PHYSICAL ED, where he averaged all A's. Tim did OK in other classes, but he could have done better if he took his mind off all the fun Hawaii had to offer a young teenage boy!

   He grew up playing Baseball, and was a pitcher from the 2nd grade, at Pearl City Elementary until his 9th, grade year at Nanakuli High. Then he choose to play HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS, in the tenth grade. He was an avid Martial artist, at a very early age learning Karate/Kaji-kendo, under Instructor Mr. KAEO, and Master Sensei, Brother Abe. Tim- Fought in martial arts tournaments representing the (1st of the 19 Rocks Of Chickamauga, of the 25, Division at Schofield barrack Hawaii. He loved surfing, diving, and sports, but Tim found Song Writing to be a relaxing poetic expression of his creative side!

TIM- As a child Tim, was raised as a Protestant Christian, which he later converted to a Southern Baptist! As a true believer in GOD, He love's, all people of every nation, as his brother's, and sister's under God! During the summers Tim surfed in the day's, and dived at nights, in the company of his brothers, and his Dad.

He was raised in one of the toughest area's in the 50TH STATE OF HAWAII, Called Nanakuli. Tim, has always tried to live for what is right, though he understood life is not perfect, so never judge others. Not all people were born with a silver spoon in there mouth, and sometimes people need to survive the best they know how too!

Tim- Believes God, is the "Master Planner" in control of all man-kinds future!

Tim- My best times was with family, and friends at the family parties such as family  REUNIONS! We had the most incredible Foods, prepared by our auntie's, and other (Family/Ohana) cooks. Our live's were filled with great music, and the Love from all Ohana/Family members. It was always the best of times!

 Photo above: At 17, a few day's before joining the US. Regular Army... Which he later claims to have loved serving in the US. Army. He loved the training, and the foods they served! This is one of a few pictures of Tim, when he was younger.

 After joining the US. Army for a 4, year term he was stationed in Hawaii, for 2, years with the 1st of the 19th (ROCKS OF CHICKAMAUGA,) a Combat Support Headquarter Co. of the 25th Division at Schofield Barracks. After 6, months Tim, was a Specialist 4, or Corporal, Which the Army then took his rank away claiming he made rank to fast! Yet after 1, year and 8, months Tim, received his orders to attend and become an E-5, or Sergeant. Now just day's before attending the(Schofield NCO Academy,) Tim, was immediately transferred to Fort Richardson, at Anchorage Alaska, for Arctic fledgling training instead, and this was Tim's introductory to life BELOW ZERO! He never attended the NCO Academy, after receiving an Honorable discharge! Tim regretted his re-enlisting after not being transfered back to Hawaii , so he chose to leave the army after serving almost 5, years!

  Influenced by the call of music, from attending his Grandfathers, Church at the age of 3, and 4, later at the age of 8, he sang his 1st Solo, in front of over 300, people in a school cafeteria, while in the boy choir in the 3rd grade!

Tim, and his 4, other brothers Performed with, (The Nanakuli Boy's Choir,) while in "Elementary School" they were already Performing for Elite Audiences at the Iolani Palace, Campbell Industrial Park, and the Waikiki Shell, and other  events happening on Oahu. TIM, Gets a laugh out being called Elvis, Wayne, Don Ho, or Niel Diamond. Which still happens often while entertaining in Hawaii, and the US. Mainland!
